Wellness in the workplace is becoming increasingly popular. Stress is one of the main factors for long term sickness absence, according to research by the Chartered Institute of Personal Development.

Many companies and organisations, from small to large, in private or public sectors, are integrating Massage Therapy as part of their health and wellbeing policies.

I can offer a range of Massage Therapy and other related wellbeing services in the workplace to assist with promoting wellness to employers and their staff.

Onsite chair massage can be carried out on the client fully clothed as oils are not used, which adds to the convenience of this service, when the client needs to return to their daily working routine.

I am also able to devise and deliver Aromatherapy workshops to groups, which can also assist with promoting individual’s wellbeing. Participants learn about the essential oils and their benefits. With guidance they are able to create their own blend for their own specific needs. An innovative workshop where colleagues feel valued and a sense of comradeship is generated.

Mindfulness involves learning to direct our attention to our experiences, moment by moment, with open- minded curiosity and acceptance. Rather than worrying about what has happened or might happen, it trains us to respond skilfully to whatever is happening right now, be good or bad.

Mindfulness at work training helps foster a feeling of calm, clarity and concentration – a clear antidote to stress and a boost to creativity. It also has the benefit to change one’s reaction to stress, enhancing resilience and improving interpersonal relations and communication.

Other benefits when adopting a mindful approach in the workplace include:

I am able to cater for group Mindfulness sessions in the working environment and can create a bespoke programme/workshop to suit the needs of the organisation/business, with ongoing support if required. In addition, I work with children and young people using Mindfulness to improve their self esteem and general wellbeing. I can also support them in dealing with exam stress. I hold a valid DBS.

Mindfulness In The Workplace Including Schools, Offices & Other Organisation

I create bespoke mindfulness workshops for organisations wishing to adopt a more mindful approach in their working environment. I have worked in schools, offices, with healthcare professionals, and have also delivered mindfulness in the community remotely via Zoom.

I ensure my sessions are engaging, innovative, informative and fun. They include resources, such as audio recordings guided meditation used in the session, handouts and self reflective activities.

It can be a one off workshop or a course suited to your requirements. These can be delivered in your Covid secure work place or setting, or delivered remotely  via Zoom.

1-to-1 sessions are also available for a more personalised wellbeing programme.
