Mindfulness Success Stories

Here are just some of the people who have benefited from mindfulness.

I approached Tina for Mindfulness and Meditation sessions to improve my general sense of well-being. I found Tina to be warm, caring and friendly, but also very professional. Tina was thorough in the way she conducted each session and sensitive to my needs.

I experienced several types of meditation techniques and gained some useful tools to support me with my daily home mediation routine.

I highly recommend Tina for her professionalism but also for her empathetic and caring nature.

I now have a balanced meditative toolkit which will enable me to step back from situations that may arise, to appraise that situation, and to provide a carefully reasoned response without “jumping in with both feet”- in others words, to be in the moment.

G. Brown

Found Tina’s voice calming and found the meditations relaxing and helped me be in the moment.

Private Client

I wanted to let you know how much you helped me with being mindful which in turn helped my confidence. I’m so pleased I found you. I was hesitant at first, but after speaking to you on the phone, I knew a mindfulness course with you would be for me. I really enjoyed how the breathing exercises helped so much and how you showed me how to use them in times of uncertainty. Your room was so calming, perfect for meditation, which I still do at home. I’m much more focused on being mindful about life in general, all thanks to you.

Reached high expectations for staff and children and skills were easy to follow. Learning new techniques for all the class to try. 10/10 for speaker.

What Is Mindfulness?

Essentially, mindfulness is about ‘being in the moment’. When we truly engage in being in the now, then this is where we really are – not stuck in the past or anxious about the future.

Mindfulness encourages us to focus on physical and emotional sensations in a non-judgemental and passive way.

“The mind is like a parachute – it does not work if it is not open.” – Frank Zappa

It is important to have an open mind with no expectations when embarking on your mindfulness journey.

If we find we are constantly ruminating or our thoughts are spiralling out of control, mindfulness can help us to take a step back and create space in our mind that allows us to respond rather than react in certain situations. This leads to far better outcomes.

“You can’t stop the waves but you can learn to surf.” – Jon Kabat-Zinn

Stress will always be present in our lives but adopting a daily mindfulness practice can help us to manage it in time of need.

The best thing about mindfulness is it’s portable, instant and no equipment is needed!
